Did you know that there is a thirteenth sign of the zodiac? Are you interested in what it’s called?
If yes, then stick with it. In this text, you will find out all about it.
Which is the most common zodiac sign?
This information surprised me a little, but after some research, it looks like Virgos are the most common zodiac sign. And why?
Well, Virgos are born between August 23rd and September 22nd. What does that tell us? Let’s go back 9 months together. Yes, they are conceived around the New Year when people are happy and in a celebratory mood.
Maybe that’s not the case these days, but then we need a new study about it.

Which is the rarest zodiac sign?
People born between January 20 and February 18 are the most creative and strange beings on earth if you ask me. Yes, the rarest zodiac signs are our dear aliens – Aquarius and Aquarius!
Aquarius is a fixed air sign and the eleventh sign of the zodiac. It represents technology, the Internet, space travel, astrology, and the human collective.
Uranus and Saturn are their ruling planets. Uranium stands for intuition, renewal, and creativity. Saturn, on the other hand, stands for clarity and concentration, but also for structure and responsibility. Aquarians are always torn between light carelessness and deep world-weariness.
Personality traits of this zodiac sign
They are intuitive and logical in equal measure. They create this balance because they are known as watery air signs.
Aquarius is also inventive and original, coming up with amazing and creative solutions, all aimed at changing the world, or at least his little corner of it.
An Aquarius knows no boundaries: his freedom is important to him above all else.
Nothing about this man is conformist, from his clothes to his career choices to his lifestyle. Aquarius is a determined sign and will see everything they set out to do to the end.

The second rarest zodiac sign
People born between November 22nd and December 21st have the second rarest zodiac sign – Sagittarius. Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign and the ninth sign of the zodiac.
As the last fire sign in the zodiac, Sagittarius has a fiery pace and familiar passion, but also some qualities more akin to an air sign, such as B.: quick reactions and quick thinking, talkative with a tendency to philosophize and a love of partying and traveling.
Personality traits of this zodiac sign
Jupiter is their ruling planet, so they love surprises and honesty. And luck loves her. Sagittarius are great speakers. They love telling stories, discussing, exchanging opinions, starting conversations, and getting to know as many people, countries, and cultures as possible.

Ophiuchus could also be the second most common zodiac sign
Have you heard of Ophiuchus? This constellation was discovered by NASA in 2016. Now the question arises, has Ophiuchus been considered the thirteenth zodiac sign since then? No, the ancient Babylonian civilization was aware of the existence of this constellation, they just did not count it among the twelve common signs of the zodiac.
NASA’s statement was as follows:
Astrology and astronomy are not the same thing, and just because an additional constellation is on the map does not mean it is also on the zodiac.
Then why did we say that he is the second most common star sign in the zodiac? Because despite all this, some astrologers have decided to recognize him. According to these astrologers, people born between November 29th and December 17th have the zodiac sign Ophiuchus. Usually, these people were considered shooters.
This constellation is associated with the healer Asclepius from Greek mythology. The name Ophiuchus is Greek and means snake+carry, which you can also see in the picture above. He is a strong man who carries a snake in his hands, which is why Ophiuchus is also called Serpentarius.

Final Thoughts
Although the thirteenth zodiac sign isn’t a new thing, it gets me thinking:
If Ophiuchus were recognized, what zodiac sign would we have? A little research later, I discovered that in most cases we would be one zodiac sign ahead of ours. So I wouldn’t be a Gemini, but a Taurus. That would be extremely interesting.
Scorpios would then be at the greatest disadvantage because their time would then only be from November 23rd to November 29th. I think that’s a shame because Scorpio is a very cool sign.
What do you think, should we have 12 or 13 zodiac signs or should everything stay exactly as it is right now?
Is the astrology we know today completely perfect, or does it need certain improvements?
I would like to end this text with a quote that I read yesterday:
There’s something out there. Astrology is like a game of chess with an invisible partner. We lay out the board and the rules, make a move, and then notice that the pieces move themselves as if by an invisible hand. – Noel Tyl
The fact is that it is there and works whether we believe in it or not.
